Teecycle Presents: That’s some good Schlitz

“Smells kind of like county fair.” This was my first reaction to the new (old) Schlitz. If you haven’t heard, the beer that made Milwaukee famous has returned to its original formula. It’s not bad. I’d order it again if for nothing else than the vintage label and longneck.

As for the new (old) shirt, it’s from my friend Graham from what he says is his favorite bookstore: Strand Books. And just like vintage Schlitz, this vintage shirt goes best with hamburgers. Specifically, Sobelman’s burgers, which for my money is hands down the best damn burger in Milwaukee. Or should I say, the best burger for someone else’s money, since Graham and his wife Katie treated Jess and me.

Good company, damn tasty burgers, vintage beer and, of course, awesome t-shirts on a summer night in Milwaukee. Life doesn’t get much better than that.
